“ A very good vegetarian restaurant. They have their own innovations. Sapthaswara dosa is one such thing. Good food, good service even when the place is full. It's open till 2am. ”
“ Hi Google users, I visited this place recently for lunch. It was a pleasant experience. We had the Udupi Special Platter and Madras Thali. The Udupi Special Platter starts with a Rasam Vadai. All items were served piping hot. The Rasam Vadai was an excellent start to a great meal. The next plate served was an assortment of Mangalore Bonda, Biscuit Roti and Guliappa. All items in this platter were tasty with the highlight being the Biscuit Roti. The next serving was a plate containing Bisi Bela Bath, Tomato Rice, Fryums, Kadubu, Keerai Dosai, Kara Uppi Puli Dosai. The meal ended with a plate of Neer Dosai with Kai Bella. The Madras Thali was an excellent option and a true value for money. All items were tasty and the highlight was the Kaara Kozhambu. If you are in and around the Chennai Egmore area then this place is a must visit for a superb lunch. Regards, Deepak. ”
“ Visited this place after long time, first visit since POST PANDEMIC and it was good, had the sambar idly, very typical food and it was good in taste, the chutneys where also fantastic, then the mangalore buns, it was fluffy, airy subtle hint of sweetness, it was good, the vegetable lasagne, I mean according to Mathsya standards, it’s good, but overall it could be more refined, in terms of taste, it could be best, but still appropriate to try, some continental, the veg lollipop was also decent, the paneer tikka was superb, then for the desserts Belgian choco truffle cake was good, not too sweet, it was well appropriate in taste and custard filled donut, that is Berliner or Bomboloni was the best, difficult to get European donuts in Chennai very barely available although it’s available here and it’s good. ”
“ The food tastes really great, no difference in the restaurant experience from other restaurants of this class. The quality of the food is neat and clean. Dishes taste wonderfully the same even after years. Parking is bit hard to find. Bike have different parking entrance vs the car which is just below the main entrance of the restaurant. Overall satisfied with the experience and the food quality and taste. ”
“ Ordered the ghee roast expecting a crispy bite, but it was on the softer side though, the ghee wasn’t overpowering. The rasam vada surprised us with a generous portion of piping hot rasam, a super soft vada. Honestly, it felt like a full meal on its own. Wrapped it all up with a classic filter kaapi served in brass tumblers comforting and just the way a good day should end. The place looks recently renovated, with tasteful interiors, great food quality, and quick service. A solid dining experience overall! ”
